About the FTTS Accelerator 2020 Program

The FTTS Accelerator matches talented entrepreneurs from around the world with program champions from Anthem and industry-leading employers. The goal is to find innovative solutions that improve individual health and well-being and enhance the overall health care experience.

"Fast Track to Scale enables GE Appliances to be part of a unique collective that accelerates new paradigms in health benefits. These winning solutions provide us with powerful ways to support our employees.

Dr. Diana Han, Chief Medical Officer & Executive Director, Global Healthcare GE Appliances

The FTTS Accelerator looks for startups with the ability to both transform the health care system and impact whole health, a vision of the health care system that continuously supports and improves our overall health rather than only intervening when we are sick. The five finalists were judged on their speed to market, which became even more critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Diamond Award Winner: ianacare

ianacare is a free mobile app where consumers can mobilize personal social circles of friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to coordinate practical help with everyday needs such as dropping off groceries, picking up medications from the pharmacy, virtual check-ins, and emotional connections.

ianacare provides support for family caregivers and has clear integration points with traditional health care and community resources.

Steven Lee and Jessica Kim, co-founders of ianacare and winners of Fast Track to Scale 2020“To make ianacare successful, there are many stakeholders that have to buy in. Thanks to Anthem and the Fast Track to Scale Accelerator, all of the stakeholders were at the table to work with us, which was just an unbelievable opportunity.”
